Our annual technical meeting took place in University of Minho School of Engineering this week. During the meeting, we discussed the opportunities, challenges, and needs of BioData.pt members. We had four active working groups that focused on different areas: Implementation of the metagenomics pipeline at Galaxy, Conclusion of OntoBrAPI, D-VAULT: Blockchain DataMarketplace, and Biosurf.org database update. We would like to thank all members who attended the meeting and especially the facilitators of the working groups, Rafaela Andrade, Hugo Rodrigues, Bruno Costa, Pedro Barros, Filippo Bergueretti, and Jorge Oliveira.
